Funky for Flannigan Challenge #47

This week's challenge seems to be a fun one. It's something I know that I've never tried but could be something fun to work with.

"Find Inspiration: Home Decor - Guess what? Home decor is one of my favorite places to find inspiration for my scrapbook pages. Why? Well, if I love it in my home, I'll probably love it on my scrapbook pages too. And some of the very best designers out there work in the home-decor industry, creating products to make our homes beautiful, warm, and cozy. If you feel your home is a reflection of who you are, then I bet you'll find inspiration in home decor for your layouts, too!"

Since this challenge is sort of a two part challenge, if you complete it, you'll receive 4 pts for the FFF challenge contest. You'll receive 2 pts if you create a layout based on a piece of home decor in your home & post your layout. You'll receive the other 2 pts if you make sure to post a picture of the inspirational home decor piece you used! You can either post it with the layout (in the description) or here in this thread.

I can't wait to see what you all come up with!

i do this quite often.......especially when i want colors....
i dig in my closet to for color combos...hehehehe

How come I am the only one doing these challenges they are so fun!!!
Here is mine:

It goes very well with the style of my UK trip book--lots of chipboard and paint and MME pp.
I had a hard time coming up with something from my home cuz my house is sort of dumpy but I was laying on the couch one night and looked at the top of our woodstove and thought that it would be perfect to use as inspiration. I even painted the chipboard gold!!!

Thanks Alicia--not sure I like the fireplace or the wood stove but it came with the house and dh loves it!
